For example, safe use of gas welding equipment, H&S advice, PAT testing and manual handling courses.

The Delivery

Skillstart offers a mobile training service or training in our new fully equipped premises. All training is carried out in a work based learning atmosphere.

Skillstart will arrange to deliver a training package tailored to your individual requirements. This will include, not only all training materials, but also all practical requirements (Tools & equipment) all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) all consumables (e.g. metal, welding rods etc.) in fact everything to enable the learner to achieve the qualification.

Accreditation

The awards will be accredited via "EAL" the awarding body for engineering competence .

The Future

Competence and the achievement of the awards could form the foundation of a career in many engineering industries.

e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Motor, Computer etc. or could provide an upskilling/re-skilling solution for existing employees.
